It has been a while since our last newsletter. We have been busy. Very busy. Our products are in high demand at the moment.
Why this newsletter? Because we exciting news to share with you. For example, we will be launching a number of new drop seals.

New versions of the EllenMatic Ferro and Ferro-S
Within the range of drop seals, Ellen has the Ferro, Ferro S and Ferro EG for steel and aluminum doors. Changing door details have led us to adjust the dimensions of our Ferro's. We immediately took the opportunity to provide the products with a durable silicone seal with extra air chamber for better insulation. The mounting plate has also been adapted for optimal mounting.
The modified Ferros will be called Ferro 2 and Ferro-S 2 and will replace the current products from the beginning of October. The Ferro EG is discontinued. The new variants always fit where the existing products are currently used.

Available soon: the EllenMatic Slim Soundproof
The reliable and widely used Ellen Soundproof is joined by a little brother: the Slim Soundproof. A 10 mm wide variant (instead of 15 mm) that achieves comparable values in the field of sound insulation and smoke and fire protection. Ideal for double use with doors thicker than 54 mm or in combination with an espagnolet. Soon more about this new Soundproof.

Available soon: an alternative for the EM Super and Special 2
Over the past decades we have sold more than 700,000 EllenMatic Supers and the EllenMatic Special 2's in the Netherlands alone. We are regularly asked if we have a replacement for this product. That solution will soon be launched! A product that does not require the door to be removed from the hinges and reworked.
The alternative is an EllenMatic Slim Soundproof featuring an adapter set. The set consists of; 2 mounting plates (the screw holes will fit the existing holes on the Super and Special 2), a set of new screws, 3 spacers that can be clicked onto the Slim Soundproof to bridge the depth of the groove, and 2 strips of self-adhesive tape that fills the groove width.
